The EHR that steers, not just archives

Ducal Résident is the user-record (EHR) module of the Ducal Suite, built for social care — disability first. The team's daily work, the family portal, and above all management oversight and SERAFIN-PH activity measurement, embedded natively. Sovereign HDS hosting, FHIR R4 architecture. Built for Ségur Wave 2 referencing.

The differentiator

An EHR that produces the metrics, instead of struggling with them

Most user records simply archive. Ducal Résident was designed around one idea: daily data must flow back up, automatically, into management oversight and activity measurement.

Embedded management

The management dashboard, inside the EHR

Real-time occupancy, movements, incidents, activity per facility and per unit: your management stops waiting for the quarterly spreadsheet. Oversight is built continuously, from the transmissions entered every day — not in a separate tool that has to be re-fed by hand.

Native SERAFIN-PH

Activity measurement, as standard

The CNSA nomenclature (needs, direct and indirect services) is coded inside the interface. Your professionals code their care actions; the engine aggregates them. No parallel spreadsheet, no re-entry.

CPOM / regulator exports

Reporting generated from the EHR

Occupancy rate for the CPOM, activity measurement for funders: CSV and XLSX exports are generated from the record's real data, ready for your regulators.

IGAS 2030 alignment

Designed for the transformation of care provision

The IGAS report on the transformation of disability care provision pushes towards a model driven by the services nomenclature (SERAFIN-PH) rather than by facility categories, with activity measurement that can be exported to regulators and a record that follows the person across care arrangements. That is exactly the chain Ducal Résident models: nomenclature → per-person traceability → measurement → exports.

SERAFIN-PH & activity measurement

"Exporting to SERAFIN-PH" is not "doing it"

Many vendors tick the SERAFIN-PH box with a file to produce on the side. At Ducal, the nomenclature and activity measurement are at the core of the module.

The "export" approach

SERAFIN-PH as one more file

  • The nomenclature lives in a separate module, to be opened on top of the record.
  • Coding requires re-entry: what was done daily is re-recorded for the measurement.
  • Activity measurement stays an end-of-campaign chore, not a management tool.
The Ducal Résident approach

SERAFIN-PH at the core of the EHR

  • Nomenclature coded inside the interface — needs, direct and indirect services, across several levels of granularity.
  • Coding campaigns per unit or facility, where each professional codes the care actions of their residents.
  • A real activity-measurement engine — aggregation and CPOM/regulator exports (CSV, XLSX) are delivered building blocks.

The activity-measurement engine and its exports are real, delivered building blocks. The Résident module as a whole is built Ségur-native and currently rolling out.

Features

Everything you need to run the facility

From residents' daily life to management oversight, a single tool for care teams, administration and families.

Pro & family portal

Two portals, one record

Teams steer the daily work; relatives stay informed without installing anything.

  • Account-free family access — a single secure link by email or SMS, no app to install.
  • News feed — daily events, activities and reports in real time.
  • Encrypted messaging — family and team exchanges, messages encrypted with AES-256-GCM.
Residents' daily life

Targeted transmissions

Each professional sees what concerns them, on a shared chronological timeline.

  • By category — care, educational, social, medical, with a chronological timeline.
  • Events & schedule — activities, appointments, outings, schedule per resident and per unit.
  • Multidisciplinary team — roles, specialties and assignment periods per resident.
Care planning

Personalized care plans

The plan is built from the flow of transmissions, not in a frozen Word document.

  • Goals & actions — evaluations and deadlines tracked over time.
  • Built continuously — the plan draws on daily transmissions.
  • Incidents & absences — reporting with severity, follow-up of replacements.
SERAFIN-PH

SERAFIN-PH activity measurement

For the disability sector (FAM, MAS, IME…), the official CNSA nomenclature, coded inside the interface.

  • Nomenclature in 3 blocks — needs, direct services, indirect services, across several levels of granularity.
  • Coding campaigns — per unit or facility, each professional codes their residents.
  • Regulator exports — CSV and XLSX for statutory reporting, summary per facility.
Management & oversight

Management dashboard

Up-to-date data, not quarterly spreadsheets.

  • Real-time occupancy — occupancy rate, admissions, movements, incidents, absences.
  • Bed management — units, rooms, statuses (available, occupied, reserved, maintenance).
  • Waiting list — admission candidates, CDAPH orientation, priority, contact details.
Security & compliance

Security at the core of the module

Field-level encryption and an audit log ready for inspections.

  • AES-256-GCM encryption — identifying data encrypted at rest, transmissions and messages included.
  • Immutable audit log — every action traced as a FHIR AuditEvent, SHA-256 chained, write-only.
  • HDS hosting — HDS-certified on Scalingo, Outscale infrastructure SecNumCloud-qualified by ANSSI.
Interoperability & Ségur

Built to integrate, not to isolate

FHIR R4 architecture from the design stage, social-care connectors and a Ségur Wave 2 referencing trajectory.

Native FHIR R4 (being extended)
Patient, Encounter, CareTeam, CarePlan, AuditEvent: data is structured in FHIR from the design stage. FHIR R4 coverage extends module by module.
Ségur Wave 2 — social care
A module built Ségur-native for the social-care EHR corridor (PA, PH, AHI profiles). In development, on the Wave 2 referencing trajectory.

A vendor already rooted in social care

Our territorial directory Ducal Connect is deployed in Seine-et-Marne, across 184 facilities. On the activity-measurement side, the engine is real: CPOM and regulator exports (CSV, XLSX) are delivered building blocks.

The Résident module itself is built Ségur-native and currently rolling out — which is precisely why we are opening a pilot-facility programme.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Ducal Résident already used in production?

The Résident module is built Ségur-native and currently rolling out — it is not yet referenced or certified. However, its SERAFIN-PH activity-measurement engine and its CPOM/regulator exports (CSV, XLSX) are real, already-delivered building blocks, and our territorial directory Ducal Connect is deployed in Seine-et-Marne across 184 facilities. That is why we are opening a pilot-facility programme.

How does it differ from software that just "exports" to SERAFIN-PH?

Many vendors tick the SERAFIN-PH box with a file to produce in a separate module, at the cost of re-entry. At Ducal, the CNSA nomenclature (needs, direct and indirect services) is coded directly inside the interface, through coding campaigns. Activity measurement aggregates from real care actions and feeds management oversight — it is not an end-of-campaign chore.

Which facilities is it for?

Social care, with a priority on the disability sector (FAM, MAS, IME…) where SERAFIN-PH applies. It also covers elderly care: for nursing homes, dependency tracking relies on the AGGIR/GIR indicators, to be distinguished from SERAFIN-PH. It targets in particular groups and associations running several facilities, thanks to the multi-facility management view.

How does it fit into the Ségur Wave 2 timeline?

The module is built Ségur-native for the social-care EHR corridor (PA, PH, AHI profiles) and positions itself on the Wave 2 referencing trajectory. Development is under way; we scope each pilot facility's project according to the filing deadlines.

Do families need to create an account?

No. Families access the portal via a single secure link sent by email or SMS. No account to create, no app to install. They view the news feed and exchange with the team through encrypted messaging.
